Ruth Brunner

Ruth Brunner was born and raised in Colorado. All her life, she’s had a love for all animals and a drive to care for them and make them comfortable. When she says “all animals” she means it. She has a fond childhood memory of trying to pet a chipmunk while camping and it bit her; but this did not stop her from trying to pet other furry friends.

Graduating with an Associate Degree at Bel Rea University, Ruth began her career in the veterinary field. She comes to UrgentVet with 8 years of experience in shelter medicine and general practice. Ruth also has a passion for rescue work and has dedicated volunteering her time at a cat rescue in Broomfield, Colorado.

Outside of UrgentVet, Ruth can be found a book reading or spending quality time with her two rescue dogs and her senior cat! Ruth is proud to lead the team at UrgentVet – Broomfield and serve the pets and pet parents of the Greater Denver area.
