Kimberly Platt

Kimberly grew up in Lexington, South Carolina with a fascination for animals and the world of science. She would spend hours in her backyard playing with any critter she could get her hands on – snakes, crawfish, turtles, frogs, you name it! However, it was her connection with her childhood dog that cemented her path into the veterinary field.

She received her degree at Piedmont Technical College in Veterinary Technology in 2016. From there, she started in general practice and animal research where she worked with pigs, dogs, sheep, galago, guinea pigs, and more.

Outside of UrgentVet, Kimberly can be found exploring different restaurants, cafes, and food festivals in the city. She also enjoys hiking, biking, and picnicking in the city’s parks and nearby trails with her husband and their 3-year-old Boston Terrier named Oliver. Fun fact about Kimberly is that she has only ever owned Boston Terriers since her dad acquired one a few decades ago and she fell in love!

Kimberly enjoys helping the pets of the Roswell community and leading her team at UrgentVet.
