Adriana Witte

Adriana Witte is a born and raised Austinite and has been surrounded by fur-siblings of all shapes and sizes since before she could walk. Her family could never say no to a stray, and so the love for animals began.

Originally planning to pursue a career in human medicine, Adriana began working as a veterinary receptionist and assistant in 2018 while pursuing a nursing degree. After quickly moving into leadership at a veterinary general practice in Virginia, she decided that veterinary medicine was more than just a fun gig to get her through school and decided to follow her heart and commit to the field full-time.

In her time in leadership and management, Adriana has placed focus on the development of her teams to ensure that each individual has the tools they need to provide the caliber of care that our patients deserve. She has successfully led, trained and developed veterinary assistants and technicians who came with little to no knowledge of the field, but lots of love and dedication to the pets they serve.

Now back in Texas, Adriana is thrilled to call UrgentVet Lakeway home and to continue to foster an environment that makes moments that could be scary or stressful for our pet parents and patients feel as supportive and comforting as possible. Adriana strives each day to create a culture where our clients feel heard, patients feel safe, and staff feels empowered.

When she is not in the clinic, Adriana enjoys hiking, camping or lazing around with her 7 year-old Chiweenie, Bruiser. Adriana looks forward to showing the same love and compassion that she gives to her own fur-baby, to those she serves at UrgentVet Lakeway.
